Human Centered Design and Usability Testing

Human Centered Design is the understanding of how the customer views the current application and its offerings compared to their expectations and applying these findings is important to the success of a user-friendly application. We look at the end-to-end customer experience and not just a touchpoint along the way

Human Centered Design is the understanding of how the customer views the current application and its offerings compared to their expectations and applying these findings is important to the success of a user-friendly application. We look at the end-to-end customer experience and not just a touchpoint along the way.

The five steps we follow to optimize the customer's experience is:

  • Identify the highest priority of the Customer Journeys through evaluation
  • Get to know the customer
  • Understand how customers interact with your organization
  • Identify the right customer experience success metrics
  • Get the Buy-in and cross-team program leadership and employees

There are many other applications in the marketplace today so loyalty from the end user is critical to the success of the product we develop for you. Taking a look at the customer and how they connect with your products and brand is vital to moving forward with your success. Let us work with your business to reach this goal.

There are four core principles Trevital considers when implementing a successful user centered design:

  1. Involve the users from the beginning.  The key to the success of an application is to engage with the customer and stakeholders to capture their goals, objectives, and expectations for the project.  Identify the problems they wish to solve, and the desired outcomes.
  2. Clarify the Requirements.  Trevital establishes the problem statement from answers to the questions and implents into the product design process.
  3. Implement User Feedback Loop in the Product’s Journey.  Trevital includes constiuent users into the usability sessions along with other end users who will use the product to gain feedback from the concept through wireframing, content, navigation features, and overall expectations.
  4. Follow the Iterative Design Process.  Continued improvement is cyclical and continuous feedback drives our teams to plan efforts iteratively to include the newest recommendations.
