Technical Project Manager


Trevital is a fast-growing Digital Services company and is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join and manage our DevOps team and support Health IT public-facing websites.

The Technical Project Management is responsible for creating and driving project timelines, managing all technical documentation for their projects, including wireframes, mock-ups, and sequencing diagrams. They will serve as the point of contact for all stakeholder needs and will liaise directly with the Product Owner and internal resources to ensure that any change management, scope or general project inquiries, incidents, issues, and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversees the successful deployment of products, including design, development and deployment of responsive web applications
• Utilize Agile/scrum processes to generate project work, monitor progress, and resolve blockers
• Prepare and update project plans, work breakdown structure, and status reports
• Define requirements, user stories, validate technology, assist in scoping solutions, and gain stakeholder agreement within a defined project timeline
• Ensure business stakeholder requirements are reflected in supplier product roadmaps and integrations by identifying requirements and aligning them to business use cases, developing user stories and clearly defining acceptance criteria
• Perform and assist with industry gap analysis and events to stay updated on technology trends and identify and drive innovation proof-of-concepts following USWDS standards
• Create and manage product documentation, including requirements, roadmaps, backlogs, and timelines
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Support the Quality Assurance process in testing and delivering solutions
• Drive adoption of standard technologies and processes among the event teams to improve quality and consistency of technologies deployed and ensure alignment and interoperability with downstream integrations and the client's tech stack
• Responsible for the creation of configuration documentation that reflects business rules for each assigned project. This includes diagrams that support integrations, data flow, and complex event configuration

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working with DevOps team

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and synthesize, simplify, and explain complex problems to different audiences.
• Strong project management skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
• Critical thinking skills with a deep understanding around the bigger picture and impact, possessing a thoughtful and easy communication style that helps resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
• Ability to dynamically adapt to changes in priorities and projects.
• Imaginative, innovative, and out-of-the-box thinking, with the ability to cultivate and stimulate creativity in others.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team; ability to see multiple perspectives
• Understanding of integration scoping and APIs, particularly regarding complex third-party integrations with multiple vendors.
• Ability to work independently. Resourceful and willing to take risks.
• Solutions-oriented. Willingness to help others.
5+ years business experience managing technology projects.
• PMP preferred.
• Provide daily and weekly recaps to key stakeholders
• Create content to be presented to senior leadership on project status, such as Power Point presentation.
• Work with project timelines and resources to deliver IT projects on time and within budget (manage deliverables.
• Remain cool under pressure and effectively handle stress, change, and uncertainty. Be open to feedback to grow your performance.
